Obituary

CHRISTOPHER DANIEL LUM August 31, 1989 – February 20, 2011 With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dearest and beloved son, grandson, nephew and cousin Christopher Lum in a skiing accident at Lake Louise, Alberta at the age of 21. Chris brought joy and happiness to all who knew him. A beautiful young man, he was caring, compassionate, well-mannered and dedicated to his family and friends. His good nature and easy smile endeared him to many, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand without even being asked. Chris had boundless energy and a joie de vivre for life. He was strong, competitive and sought to excel. Chris was passionate about food, biking and skiing, carving the snow whenever possible as a former racer. Chris will be always loved and leaves his mother Sandy, his grandparents Peter and Rose, his uncles Raymond (Jennifer) and Steven (Stephanie), and his cousins Aiden, Lauren and Eric. Chris also leaves his father Daniel Fornetran. The family will receive friends at York Visitation Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Saturday, February 26, 2011 commencing at 10:00 a.m.
